The Tide Notes
AN A CAPPELLA GROUP FOR TREBLE VOICES GRADES 7-12
Founded in the Fall of 2019, The Tide Notes has become a strong, supportive group of singers.
We sing a variety of music in different styles and from around the world, including classical, pop and traditional music.
We welcome new singers with treble voices who identify as female or alternatively gendered. If you would like to learrn more or are interested in joining us, please reach out to emily@emilybender.com, and we can see if it would be a good fit. No audition required. Some singing experience recommended.

CHERUB CHOIR is for pre-K to second grade children,
Younger children are welcome to attend with parents.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR is for children in 3rd to 8th grade.
Rehearsals are Sundays at 11:15
Fall Start date is September 15.

THE SOUND WAVES - not currently offered
A CAPPELLA HARMONY SINGING FOR AGES 9-12
Singers in the Sound Waves focus on the fun and satisfying art of a cappella harmony singing. They will learn to follow musical scores, hold their own part, listen to their fellow singers, and sing with confidence. One of the few a cappella choirs for this age group in the Bay Area and beyond, this class is great preparation for singing in middle and high school choirs, a cappella groups, and musical theater productions. The last class will be a mini-recital for friends and family. Singers are encouraged to stay with the class for the entire school year, as additional performances will occur in Spring 2025. $30 material fee payable to instructor at first class.

THE SEA STARS - NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED
FUN AND BASIC SINGING SKILLS FOR AGES 6-8.
In this lively group, your child will sing and play while learning the basics of musicianship and singing together. We learn about beat, rhythm, movable do solfège and music notation, and sing songs kids love. The last class is a mini-recital for friends and family. $30 material fee payable to instructor at first class.
